1. Visit Buda Subba Temple : You should visit the Buda Subba temple at least once while you are in Dharan. Its best if you go to the temple on Saturday.
2. EAT Egg Rolls : If you’re are in Dharan then u should visit Bhanu chowk at 5 in the evening and take a bite at the egg rolls u find there. Mouthwatering Dish! Believe me!
3. Bagarkot in the Evening : Well if u were abroad and youre back to Dharan for a break then u should not miss this place. Visit Bagarkot in the evening . The beautiful wind from the hills makes u forget everything. Don’t forget to eat a plate of pig’s ear !
4. Bhedetar : Go to Bhedetar ! The latest development there is a pitch road to RajaRani and yes there’s a water fall nearby in Bhedetar. Local villagers have cleaned up the road and made it easier to reach.
5. Babblu’s Paan : Well if you are a paan eater then u should taste the PAAN of Babblu’s at the BPKIHS Gate. The most fantastic paan in Dharan.
6. Local Kukhura Soup : Don’t forget this too ! If you love local kukhura then u should go to shivdhara there’s a restaurant that serves local kukhurako soup there ! Aaah ! Don’t miss it !
7. Hariyali / Yalembar PARK : If you are a nature lover you should go to Hariyali samudayik baan and Yalembar Park ! This park is maintained & developed by local effort of the residence of Dharan 19.
8. Shivajee Vaiya’s Chatpate : Chatpate ! if you really wanna eat the best chatpates in Dharan you better go straight to SinghaDevi chowk and ask for Shivajee Vaiyas chatpate ! I love the dahibadas he serves ! Damn Tasty !
9. Churpees : If you have been craving to eat Churpees you should go to Bhanu chowk. There is an old lady churpee dokan near the big papal chautari . She’s been selling churpees since I was a kid and she’s got the best churpees in the town !
10. Breakfast @ Shyamees Thukpa : You slould definitely taste Shyamees Thukpa at the Depot School gate Just ask for Masu,Thukpa and CHOP . Its better if you eat before 8 in the morning cause everything is fresh at that time and the chop u get during this hour is the most crunchy ! happy munching dudes !!
11. Sungur ko Khutti : If you are a fan of PORK MEAT then u should try this dish too ! Sungur ko Khutti @ Ratna Chowk ! Just reach Ratna Chowk and ask anyone where Maila Dai’s khutti dokan is ! ….. Have a chomp @ those khuttis ! Lip smaking Eh !
12. DHARAN VIEW POINT : Last but not least you’ve got to go to Dharan View Point. This place is in a short distance from Dharan along the Dharan Dhankutta highway ! A perfect sport to view Dharan.
i was there... staying at nite at the goodwood park hotel suite.. with my best friend and we spend e nite at orchard walking ard and visited H.R.C.. so i was there taking pictures..
